Identified myself as a visual & UX/ UI designer, I see design as a valuable tool to cultivate connections and empowerment. Coming from a Taiwanese background, I highly value diversity and inclusion. This mindset further extends to embracing human-centred approaches in my design work. Therefore, many of my projects revolve around the idea of engagement and community.
Proficient in utilizing Adobe Suite, I am in love with visual design, infographics, video projects and illustrations. Furthermore, I currently spend most of my time polishing my UX/ UI skillsets (user research, prototyping and testing) and using remote tools (Figma, Figjam, Typeform, Loom) to extend my passion. Recently, I just received a UX/UI certificate from Memorisely's part-time boocamp. It had trained me how to conduct remote user research and collaboration. All these skill sets and the experiences coming with them have assisted me to become a more empathetic and open-minded person who is unafraid of stepping out of my comfort zone.
I am looking for new opportunities to expand my impact on the organizations by spending more time polishing my visual design skills as well as UX/UI skills. Currently, I've been volunteering for Science Slam Canada as the visual designer overseeing their social media campaigns and design content.
